Thinking about Spring Breaking? Learn how to protect yourself and friends

Whether you’re planning on going way for spring break or got invited to a local party – be aware of your surroundings, stick with friends, and if you get a cup in your hand – watch it closely to protect yourself from the danger of getting “roofied.”

What is Rohypnol?

You may be familiar with the terms “date-rape drug” and “roofie.” Both of these terms are referring to the drug Rohypnol. Rohypnol is powerful and dangerous. Often times it has no smell, no color, or taste, which makes it almost impossible to tell if someone put one in your cup. Rohypnol has been used in sexual assault cases which is why it can be called the “date rape drug.”
