Summer Sizzle 7.0

Ahhh the teenage years- filled with budding romances, late nights doing nothing, lots of pizza, and OH YEAH those cringing, gut wrenching embarrassing moments. It has happened to all of us whether you’ve fallen down in front of a million people, flashed your underpants to the world, or said the word orgasm in science class instead of organism. We at TeenSource know these moments are a part of growing up and while they suck when we are going through them, they actually make for some really funny stories. So we’ve scoured the world wide web in search of the most hilarious stories, just to let you know… you will survive:

“I was scrolling through my Instagram feed, and noticed my crush uploaded a shirtless pic of himself playing beach volleyball. I took a screenshot to send to my BFF, but in my excitement, I accidentally sent the message to my crush! I was mortified, especially when I was notified that he’d read the message!”

“I ran through a cloud of gnats at track practice. As I crossed the finish line, my crush walked over to me and said "Hi." I was flabbergasted. We talked briefly about running and I floated off to the girls locker room where I looked in the mirror to see if this interaction had transformed me into a Goddess. What I saw were about six gnats stuck to the lip gloss on my mouth, their little wings flapping desperately as they tried to escape.”

"It was my first date ever with a boy, and I had a slight cold. We went to a nice restaurant, and while we were eating our meal, I sneezed — and a huge booger bubble came out of my nose! It was awful, and it wouldn't go away. I jumped up as fast as I could and ran to the bathroom with my hands over my face. After that, the guy never asked to go anywhere with me again. It was so horrible!"

“My new boyfriend and I were outside the movie theater, waiting for my mom to pick me up. We hadn't kissed yet, but I had a feeling it was going to happen soon. Just as I was thinking about my dream scenario, he came up and kissed me with his mouth wide open and slobbered all over me. There was saliva everywhere! A second later my mom pulled up and yelled, 'Way to go! First kiss!' I was traumatized!"

And finally check out this stuffed animal dog show gone wrong

In all reality, even if it’s not as bad as these, everyone’s bound to have a couple moments in middle school and high school that make them want to pull a blanket over their head. But here’s the secret to embarrassing moments: THEY ARE ONLY EMBARRASSING IF YOU LET THEM BE! And our number uno tip to surviving: Laugh. If you can laugh it off, people will laugh with you and not at you, and lets be honest, it was probably a little but funny :)
