Sure, flowers and chocolates are nice. But nothing says, "I love you and I care about your health and future" quite like some shiny new condoms. Okay, maybe that's a bit of an exageration but the truth is that practicing safer sex each and every time you have sex with your partner is important and DOES show them that you care.
The really good news? If you're a teen in California, there is no need to spend your hard-earned cash on condoms. You can get condoms for free through our Condom Access Project. Depending on where you live, you can either locate places where you can pick up condoms for free (no questions asked!) or even get them mailed to you at home. Check out this video tutorial for more info on how the program works. If you want to choose a specific type of condom for Valentine's Day but don't want to pay a premium, we recommend purchasing your condoms at big box stores like Target or Walmart - they tend to have the cheapest prices.
